Why do we quote things just because someone we've heard of said it?

-People we've heard of have the potential to be full of baloney too...i think it's an inspirational thing... for example, a great man like Martin Luther King jr. say's something great like "i have a dream" followed by a great speech about human kind just getting along with one another, and we all see that as inspirational. that's what i think anyway.It's because everyone can understand this line in a different way.

so it's better to qoute it as it's said than to resay it as you understood it.



you can read a line and say it's a bullsh!t but it actually has a great meaning
