-I have a quote from a man who was quoted in another author's book. In other words, one author quoted a man and I am quoting the quote from her book. What is the proper in-text parenthetical citation according to MLA? Would it just be her name (which is Koprince) or do I need to say "quoted in." Which is correct? (Koprince, 349) or (qtd. in Koprince, 349) or other?
